More than two years after its presentation at the Sundance Film Festival in the United States, the film Slow is released in French theaters this Wednesday, August 6. Directed by Lithuanian Marija Kavtaradze, it tells the story of Elena's budding romance with Dovydas, who comes out as asexual: he feels little or no sexual attraction. While this film is fiction, it is the reality that the 12 % of French people who declare themselves asexual in 2024, according to an Ifop survey, may face.
